A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for aNetwork Support Specialist
Position type: Full-time, Contract
Duration: 18 months, possible extension
Location: Pine Bluff, Arkansas 71602
About the Opportunity We're looking for a hands-on
Network Support Specialist who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys being the go-to expert for both network infrastructure and end-user technology support.
What You'll Bring Core Technical Expertise - Proven experience supporting enterprise network environments, including:
- Cisco-based LAN switching and routing
- Structured cabling systems with a strong focus on fiber-optic networking technologies
- Fiber installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience operating OTDR and other network-testing equipment
Preferred Skills & Certifications - Solid understanding of Wireless LAN (WLAN) fundamentals
- Experience supporting Cisco wireless solutions
- Cisco CCNA certification (or higher) preferred
- Familiarity with wireless survey and optimization tools such as Ekahau
- Project management exposure and/or certification is a plus
What You'll Do As the face of IT support, you'll play a critical role in ensuring employees stay productive, connected, and equipped with the technology they need to succeed.
- Deliver end-to-end support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and related technology
- Provide prompt, hands-on troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Work directly with end users, offering exceptional customer service through face-to-face interactions
- Maintain and support enterprise software applications using available knowledge base resources
- Administer and support Active Directory environments
- Ensure all technology assets remain operational with minimal disruption to business operations
- Exercise sound judgment, ownership, and independent decision-making in resolving technical challenges
What Makes You a Great Fit - Undergraduate degree, vocational certification, or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems or Technology
- 2-3 years of desktop/desk-side support experience in a professional environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Enterprise software applications
- Active Directory administration
- Extensive software troubleshooting expertise
- Outstanding communication and customer-service skills
- Self-driven, adaptable, and committed to delivering a seamless technology experience

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*: $40.00 - $42.30 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
