Compensation Information Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. - Heavy Truck Driver: $17.76 - $32.86/hour
- Senior Heavy Truck Driver: $19.51 - $36.10/hour
- $45/day per diem.
- 5 days on, 2 days off schedule. *Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*
Job Duties - Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman
- Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities
- Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 30 tons to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one warehouse to another
- Loads and unloads vehicles
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of well logging equipment at job site
- Performs other duties and activities as directed
Qualifications Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have Class A CDL licensurewith Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker, Doubles, Triples endorsement preferred
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
- Must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges
- Winter, mountain, over the roaddriving experience
- Able to communicate effectively with others
- Mechanical background and oilfield experience preferred.
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills required
- Able to pass background, physical and drug screen
- Able to lift up to 60lbs
- Able to pass background, physical and drug screen
- Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions
- Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions
- Maintains effective working relationship with other employees
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 6a - 6p(overnight travel is required as needed).
